It was described earlier in some game previews, that crafting will be part of the game. According to that, it will be possible for Jonathan E. Reid, to reuse certain items from corpses. One part of this menu is the recycling menu, where he can deconstruct found items.

On a workbench, Jonathan can craft:

  • Medicine
  • Analyze - to find out ingredients by analyze sample
  • Medical treatments - to heal sick Citizens
  • Serums - to boost himself
  • Weapon upgrades - to improve and customize weapons
  • Recycle - to recycle items to material

Craftable Medical Treatments[edit | edit source]

Reid can analyse items, discover treatments and prepare serums.

  • Actually there were 9 kinds of illness in this game, and each one will have a related unique medicine to cure.
  • To craft the medicine, you will need to award the ingredients for related medicine first, and of course you need enough material to craft it.
  • The medicine divide in 3 types, Fatigue/Anemia/Sepsis in heart, you will know these 3 at the beginning, Cold/Bronchitis/Pneumonia in lung, which ingredient can be found in old morgue, Migraine/Headache/Neuralga in brain, which ingredient can be award from search body in Stonebridge Cemetery
  • Each medicine can be craft from 4 different material, detail list below.

Craftable Weapon Upgrades[edit | edit source]

Aside from the medical related crafting, Reid also can craft many different kinds of weapons.

Enhancement[edit | edit source]

Except the upgrade weapon to a high level, some weapon can also enhanced.
Please notice that enhanced ability can kept after upgrade to high level.
So if you want keep using and upgrade one weapon, don't forget to enhance it during each level.

  • Enhanced Damage.png Enhanced Damage (Increase damage dealt by 10%)
  • Increased Blood Absorption.png Increased Blood Absorption (Absorb blood points when the weapon hits)
  • Enhanced Handling.png Enhanced Handling (Decrease stamina consumption by 10%)
  • Increased Stun.png Increased Stun (Add 3 stun points when the weapon hits)
  • Improved Firepower.png Improved Firepower (Increase damage dealt by 10%)
  • Improved Velocity.png Improved Velocity (Decrease the reloading time by 25%)
  • Incendiary Damage.png Incendiary Damage (Switch to fire damage. Best used against Beasts, and Vampires.)

  • It's very strange that this weapon was set as the top level only 2, which means you can only upgrade this weapon once (if not consider the enhancement). As it can't upgrade further, better not waste any component on it.
